This beautiful apartment is one of Zermatt’s most original properties. Set across three levels, it features some unusual concepts, such as a fireplace nesting in the middle of the living room window, and original hand-made furniture by the designer Heinz Julen, and has featured in several designer magazines.
The extensive use of glass roofs in the apartment gives it a very airy feel, and gives it a bird’s nest view of both the picturesque village of Zermatt and the Mischabel mountains.
Access is a two minute walk from the top of the Omnia Hotel lifts, for which you will have a private key. The village end of this lift will deliver you into the heart of Zermatt, on the main street near the church.
On the main floor there is a large living room with three separate seating areas, a dining area, an open-plan kitchen and two terraces, making it a perfect place to relax and take in the fabulous views. Two bedrooms with high beamed ceilings and en-suite shower/WC, TVs and balconies are situated at either end of this floor.
The master bedroom takes up the whole of the top floor, and features a free-standing Jacuzzi bath and en-suite shower/WC, and its sloping glass ceilings give stunning views.
On the ground floor you will find a private glass-fronted sauna, along with an exercise room complete with a treadmill and two loungers to relax in. The fourth double bedroom is also situated on this floor.
All three floors are accessed by a private elevator or stairs, and guests have half-price access to the Genesis Spa of the Backstage Julen Hotel between 1pm and 5pm.
This property can also be rented with the Heinz Julen Loft, located in the same building, and can then sleep 14 guests.
