Elegant Address Ski Limited – Booking Terms and Conditions for Rentals

Booking and Payment: The person who signs the booking form is responsible for all payments in respect of the booking. Bookings are strictly limited to the maximum occupancy which is stated on the booking form. A baby requiring a cot will count as one person. Reservations will be confirmed upon payment of a non refundable deposit of 30%-50% of the rental cost and a completed booking form. This amount should be received within seven days of the initial telephone booking to secure your reservation, or your option will automatically be released.

Full payment, including rental charges, security bond and any supplementary facilities is payable 12 weeks prior to rental, or immediately if travel is within this date. Should payment not arrive by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and you may be liable to pay cancellation charges as set out on the cancellation chart.

The Security Bond must be paid with the balance of your rental payment. We reserve the right to make a charge for damaged or missing items and any other cost which we incur save for cost of normal cleaning by us. Return of Security Bond is upon receipt of housekeepers report and usually within seven days of your return. The tenant’s responsibility for damages to the accommodation is not limited to the amount of security bond.

Payments should be made by bank transfer to our bank account as detailed on the Booking Form.

Occupancy: You agree to the maximum number of people which is the number specified on the Booking Form. A baby in a cot would count as one person. We cannot accept bookings for larger groups without written acceptance from Elegant Address. Special events such as birthdays, weddings, receptions etc. must have our written agreement.

As the customer, you agree to take good care of the property, leave it clean and tidy and replace any breakages. All properties have a no smoking policy.

Arrival and Departure times: Rental commences at 1600 and clients must depart no later than 1000 on their departure date. Clients cannot enter the accommodation before 1600 without consent in writing from Elegant Address Ski Ltd. It is the Client’s responsibility to notify the housekeeper of any delays with their arrival time. Failure to do this could result in the housekeeper leaving for another appointment resulting in very long delays to gain entry to the apartment or chalet. The housekeeper has permission to charge you up to 75€ for excessive waiting without notification.

Rental Price: Unless stated otherwise, for our apartment rentals the rental price includes normal use of gas, water and electricity. This is with the exception of chalet where EDF/utilities are calculated and paid locally. For Apartment rentals any excessive use will be billed and the amount will be deducted from the security bond.

For Apartment Rentals – One set of Bed linen, bath towels and kitchen towels are included in the rental price. Additional bedding and towels can be arranged through the housekeeper at a charge of 50€ per person. Unless stated otherwise Linen is additional for chalet rentals and paid locally.

The chalet rental price will be quoted. To this there are additional costs.

Additional Costs – Each chalet is different in terms of what services and charges are included, please ask your consultant for the confirmation of any additional costs, these could include-

  • Linen and towel hire
  • Food and Drinks
  • Cleaning
  • Departure clean
  • Insurance
  • Holiday tax
  • Ski Hire
  • Ski Passes
  • Catering

Clients should leave the accommodation in the same general condition as it was found at their arrival. This means dishes washed, no rubbish left etc. Any necessary extra cleaning time will be charged at 25€ per hour.

The cost of replacing a lost key is 80€. If for security reasons locks need to be changed this would be charged at 300€. Electronic key fobs are very difficult to replace, and if these are lost they are charged at 150€ each.

Cancellations or Changes by yourselves: A cancellation by your party must be made in writing by the person who signed the booking form. If the cancellation applies only from the date of receipt 12 weeks or more before the departure date, only the deposit is forfeit. Within this period the following percentage of the total rental price will be payable as a cancellation charge by the Client:

  • Between 12-6 weeks before rental commencement. 60%
  • Between 6-4 weeks before rental commencement. 80%
  • Between 4 weeks and the commencement date 100%

Amendments: If after you have confirmed your booking you decide to alter your arrival and/or departure dates, we will do our utmost to make the requested change, provided we are informed at least 12 weeks prior to rental commencement.

Management: We have a very experienced and efficient team of housekeepers. Full details of the management service are available on the information sheet that will be sent to you. Please do not hesitate to contact the housekeeping team should you require any assistance during your stay. They have excellent local knowledge and should be able to help you with any enquiries you may have.

The housekeeping team is also able to arrange additional maid service, babysitting service and laundry service. Please note any requests on the booking form. For bookings of two consecutive weeks or more a mid-stay clean is arranged. Additional bedding and towels can be arranged at this time at a cost of 50€ per person. Any additional towels or bedding which are used will be charged for from the security bond.

Complaints: In the unlikely event that you wish to register a complaint during your holiday, contact the housekeeper immediately/manager and follow this up with a letter. Give a copy to the housekeeper and a copy to Elegant Address upon your return. Unfortunately we are not always able to control the components of your rented accommodation and it is possible that an advertised facility may be withdrawn or changed due to circumstances beyond our control and for which we cannot accept liability.

We do hope you enjoy your holiday. Should you have a problem during your holiday, or notice damages or defects, please contact our housekeeper immediately and we will do our utmost to solve the problem. We cannot accept any complaints that are received after departure, unless guests have informed us during their stay and in writing to us within two weeks after departure.

Accommodation Descriptions: The descriptions of the apartments and chalets are based on inspections made by Elegant Address Ski Ltd or on the Company’s behalf and on information passed to the company. Inspections can take place several months in advance and the descriptions are of what existed at the time of the inspection. When we become aware of any significant changes, we will advise you as soon as possible.

Children: Children in and around the pool must always be supervised. Children must also be supervised on any balconies at the accommodation. Supervision of the children is the tenant’s responsibility.

Safety and Security: All doors, windows and shutters are to be locked before leaving the accommodation even for a short time. When closing electronic window shutters, please ensure that no items (chairs, shoes, bags) will prevent the lowering of the shutters.

Passports and Insurance: British citizens travelling should hold a full British 10 year passport which is valid for at least 90 days following their entry to France. It is essential that holiday insurance is purchased to cover loss of goods whilst travelling abroad, sickness or accidents etc. We also strongly recommend taking out insurance to cover any costs of cancellation. It is possible to take a holiday insurance that covers damages the client may incur while living in the rental accommodation.
Neither Elegant Address Limited, the property owner, nor the management company can be liable for any loss, theft, damage or injury arising in connection with your stay in the rental home caused by matters outside of any reasonable control, including acts of God, war, civil disturbances, strikes or other industrial action, acts of government or any event beyond our control.

Our Responsibility: The agency reserves the right to cancel the rental before or after payment of the total rental price in special cases like unforeseen major repairs of the holiday home. In this case we will try to offer another rental home with similar standing and location or to refund the full amount paid.

We are not responsible for any change not related directly to the accommodation, such as beach conditions, shops, environmental condition etc…
Neither the owners nor the agency can accept any responsibility for injury or damage to guests or any members of their families and/or their party.

Elegant Address reserves the right to cancel the rental before or after payment of the total rental price in special cases such as unforeseen major repairs of the property. In this case we will arrange to offer another accommodation of a similar or higher standard and location or to refund the full amount paid.

Elegant Address reserves the right to cancel the rental at any moment in cases where the guest or member of the family or friends of the guest act in a threatening way, incur damages to the rental property, make extreme noise, exceed the capacity, or incur any other action that may harm the agency or the homeowner. Under these circumstances no refund would be due.

Referral Promotion: When you recommend family or friends who book with us.

  • Only one gift will be issued for each new customer  or family introduced
  • The client that is introduced must book through Elegant Address LPG for the gift to be claimed
  • There is no limit to the number of referrals made
  • In the event of any disputes regarding any referrals made, the decision of EA LPG is final
  • Elegant Address Luxury Property Group reserves the right to change/update/end the offer at any time.

Re-booking Promotion: Re-book with Elegant Address Luxury Property Group and receive a gift.

  • Only one gift will be issued for each re-booking
  • The client must rebook with Elegant Address LPG for the gift to be claimed
  • In the event of any disputes regarding the rebooking incentive, the decision of EA LPG is final
  • Elegant Address Luxury Property Group reserves the right to change/update/end the offer at any time.
